BIO

Abtin is a Geotechnical Engineer and researcher at Deakin University. He holds a PhD and an MEng in Geotechnical Engineering and a BEng in Civil Engineering. His expertise includes soil and rock mechanics, geotechnical laboratory testing, underground excavation, geomaterial characterisation, and numerical modelling. His research has led to publications in journals from ASCE, Elsevier, Springer, ASTM, and Taylor & Francis: GoogleScholar.
