I am a researcher at the Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation (IISRI) at Deakin University, where my work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence and real-world applications. My research focuses on the development and optimization of advanced AI models, including machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale foundation models. I apply these technologies to both visual and numerical datasets, with particular attention to general and medical data domains. A core aspect of my work involves enhancing model performance in key tasks such as classification, segmentation, and object detection. To achieve this, I leverage Neural Architecture Search (NAS) algorithms to automate and refine model design, enabling the discovery of high-performing architectures with improved efficiency and adaptability. Driven by a commitment to impact, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical advancements and practical implementation, ensuring that AI innovations are translated into effective, real-world solutions.
