MsAzin Ehteshami

Azin Ehteshami is a Graduate Researcher, Research Fellow and Teaching Fellow at Deakin University's School of Architecture and Built Environment, based at the Geelong Waterfront Campus. Her research explores smart home technology, child-friendly and inclusive residential design, and the intersection of design, wellbeing, and emerging technology. Her PhD, examining smart home and child-friendly inclusive residential design, is currently under examination.

Before moving into academia, Azin spent eight years in construction project management and building inspection, including roles at Knauf. She holds a Master of Arts in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture Engineering.

Her publications span smart home typologies, child-friendly design frameworks, and architectural history. She currently serves as Secretary of the ASA Committee.
