BIO

Estée is a second year graduate researcher focussing on food and nutrition education in primary schools. Previous to undertaking her studies at Deakin, Estée pursued a career as a Physical Education and Performing Arts teacher in a primary and secondary school setting. Although she loved teaching, Estée found her passion through research, and inspiring change. Estée wishes to further her journey by educating and inspiring others to tackle current and emerging health and environmental issues. Her PhD aims to address the gaps in school-based food and nutrition education by integrating food and nutrition content throughout the primrary school curriculum using a co-production approach.
