2023 study on the effectiveness of Alpha in Prisons

1. Registered with VACRO’s “Lived Experience Framework” 2. Under the supervision of Dr Aaron Hart, wrote a literature review in preparation for a new employment and accommodation service VACRO planned to offer to people exiting prison. I built an annotated bibliography using Zotero bibliographic software to provide a synthesis of the leading Australian literature in the area. I divided the topic into 9 areas (colour-coded using Zotero’s 9 tag colours). I further sorted the areas according to the Minto Pyramid and tagged them accordingly so the research could be easily drawn out for each part of Dr Hart’s report. I made comments on each of the 50 peer-reviewed articles in the literature review 3. Provided my overall comments on the topic area based on the literature – refer to “Observations from the Literature Review” available upon request 4. Provided comments and proofreading for the report that was based on the literature review, the “Second Chance Jobs Monitoring and Evaluation Plan”
