Associate ProfessorZitong Sheng

Dr Zitong Sheng is an Associate Professor in the Management Discipline at Deakin Business School.

Zitong holds a PhD in Management (OBHR) from Virginia Commonwealth University, United States. Her research focuses on micro organisational phenomena,  particularly in areas related to prosocial and proactive behaviour among employees and newcomers. Zitong also has a main research focus on methods, aiming at promoting optimal research practices and integrating advanced quantitative methods (e.g., cross-lagged panel analysis, dynamic SEM, social network analysis) and interdisciplinary methods (e.g., machine learning) to unpack work phenomena. Her work appears in leading management journals including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior,  Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Vocational Behavior, among others. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for Applied Psychology: An International Review (ABDC-A), and is on the editorial board of Journal of Business and Psychology (ABDC-A).
