BIO

My current Associate Research Fellow role involves working on the Innovative Initial Teacher Education (IITE) project. Alongside this I teach and mark in undergraduate and postgraduate units.

I have over 25 years of teaching and leadership experience in Australian and New Zealand early childhood services. Much of my recent leadership experiences has focused on how you support, guide, and develop the capabilities and practices of the people you lead.

My Doctor of Education research titled Recently Appointed Leaders in Early Childhood Education in Aotearoa New Zealand: The Quest for Useful Knowledge and Social Connection focused on the professional learning needs of recently appointed leaders.
