RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am undertaking a PhD project at Deakin University, which focuses on studying the breastfeeding experiences of women who have undergone bariatric surgery. The goal of this research is to gain insights into how this surgery impacts lactation and enhance care practices globally.
In addition, I have developed a widely used tool for evaluating the quality of life in women with gestational diabetes. This tool has significantly improved healthcare providers' ability to comprehend and manage the effects of gestational diabetes on women's daily lives.
My extensive background in reproductive health research also involves various aspects of women's health. These projects have covered topics ranging from prenatal nutrition to menopause, each providing valuable midwifery and public health perspectives.
As I continue to advance my research career, I remain committed to bridging the gaps between clinical practice and academic research, focusing on improving health outcomes for women worldwide through innovation and evidence-based practices.
