BIO

Samantha Hepburn is a Professor of Law in Deakin Law School and has also taught at the Australian National University and Monash University.  Samantha teaches and researches in natural resource law including: energy governance, renewables, gas policy, climate and environmental law.  Samantha also teaches and researches in property, land and trust law.  She has published many articles and books.  Her book Australian Property Law: Cases Materials and Analysis with Lexis Nexis is currently in its 7th edition.  Her book on Mining and Energy Law with Cambridge University Press is currently in its 2nd edition and her text on the Principles of Equity and Trusts with Federation Press is currently in its 7th edition.  Samantha has extensive media experience and has published 80 articles with The Conversation which, in turn, have been republished extensively in Australia and internationally in multiple media outlets including The New Daily, The Guardian, SBS and Huffington Post.  She has appeared on multiple media outlets including: The 7.30 Report, Radio National, Australia Wide, and The Project.
