MrDaniel Fritz Silvallana

Daniel Fritz Silvallana is a PhD Candidate at Deakin University's School of Communication and Creative Arts, and a recipient of the Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPRS). He is also Graduate Researcher Teaching Fellow, teaching in the areas of media and communication. His research interests focus on environmental and climate change communication, digital health, and affect and emotion in media studies within Southeast Asian contexts. Daniel held several visiting fellowships across prestigious and international research institutions, including the CRC Affective Societies, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany (2024), MediaLab at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain (2024), and Kavli IPMU at University of Tokyo, Japan (2025).
