BIO

For over five years, she has taught General English and Business English courses to students at universities in Thailand. With a strong background in English education and professional development, she has made significant contributions to academia through teaching, research, and academic service. Shaped by her experience in higher education institutions in Thailand, she has earned the title of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2021. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences, focusing on a sociolinguistic study of Indonesian Muslim women influencers in digital spaces. This research aligns with her long-standing interests in sociolinguistics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis, which she explored during her bachelor’s degree and master’s thesis. Through this project, she aims to investigate the dynamics of Muslim women's identities in Indonesia, her homeland, and bridge the distance she feels from it.
