RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests focus on child eating behaviour and food avoidance, particularly how temperament, sensory sensitivity, executive function, and appetite self-regulation contribute to individual differences in eating behaviour. I am especially interested in integrating perspectives from nutrition and psychology to better understand the sensory and cognitive processes underlying food choices.

My broader research interests include sensory and consumer research, sensory marketing, and consumer behaviour, with a particular interest in cross-cultural differences in food perception and choice. I am interested in interdisciplinary approaches that connect sensory science, psychology, nutrition, and consumer science.
