BIO
Julia Mikocka is a PhD candidate at the School of Psychology, Deakin University. Julia's PhD research is focused on personalisation of parenting programs using machine learning techniques. Her work is nested within the NHMRC-funded project: "Improving parent and child emotion regulation in early childhood to reduce population rates of child mental illness", led by Associate Professor Elizabeth Westrupp. Her PhD thesis is entitled "Machine learning as a tool to personalise parenting programs", aims to make parenting support more accessible and effective by tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each parent.
