RESEARCH INTERESTS
Andreas Lauer’s research develops the concept of climate-friendly food literacy and investigates how such literacy impacts people’s food choices. He has not only experience in quantitative, but also in qualitative research such as the development and evaluation of serious games aiming to increase player’s climate-friendly food literacy and to empower them to engage in impactful climate actions. Andreas has expertise in electrical engineering, pedagogy, and environmental social sciences. His interdisciplinary background fuels his passion for climate action, with a focus on food systems and their impact on climate, wild and farmed animals.
