TEACHING EXPERTISE
Bernie has taught in and lead a very large number of public health and health promotion units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has supervised many Masters major and minor research projects, Honours projects and a number of doctoral students.
During his time in the School of Health and Social Development, he was the coordinator of the Bachelor of Health Promotion, Bachelor of Health Promotion/ Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Health Sciences, Master of Health Promotion and Master of Public Health.
He lead Deakin's membership of the Victorian Consortium for Public Health, and managed the Consortium for a number of years.
