BIO
I graduated from the Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh, in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I have been passionate about robotics and autonomous systems. During my undergraduate studies, I led the science team of Project Altair, a Mars Rover team that got notable placements in several international competitions (ERC, URC, IRDC).
Building on this interest, I began my PhD at Deakin University within the Deakin Institute for Intelligent Systems. I am funded by the Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPR) and started my role as a Graduate Researcher in December 2023.
My research lies at the intersection of computer vision and language modelling, with a focus on Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for off-road autonomy and visual perception in challenging environments. My work aims to develop deep learning frameworks guided by language priors to enable unsupervised domain adaptation in label-scarce settings.
