BIO
I am currently a PhD Candidate at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds Campus. I am particularly interested in conducting interdisciplinary research on climate change understanding and actions, including communication, environmental psychology, and social science methods. My PhD research is currently investigating how climate actions are defined across academia and the broader public, and identifying the social and psychological motivators and barriers to participation in collective climate action in local communities.
I have worked as a research assistant on a project conducting the first global investigation of the state of climate and environmental journalism and am currently working as a research assistant on a project investigating how climate change policy is represented in the Australian media.
