BIO
Tracey is a graduate research teaching fellow in sociology. Drawing on social theory to surface new understandings of mothering, maternal bodies, and maternal health, she is passionate about contributing to positive futures for mother and families alike. Situated within feminist theories, specifically new materialist and matricentric, Tracey’s current research explores how breastfeeding support is produced (or excluded) in mothers’ social environments and how these relations of support shape mothers' embodied experiences.
