BIO
Gaelle Bihan is a PhD candidate at Deakin University. She is part of Colin Barrow's group and her main focus is on marine and terrestrial biomass valorisation, i.e. extracting (SFE) and analysing (SFC-MS, LC-MS) valuable compounds from seaweed and plant species using green extraction technologies such as supercritical CO2.
Gaelle completed a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Environmental Bioprocess with a major in Organic Chemistry from the National Graduate School of Chemistry of Montpellier (ENSCM), second best French Chemical Engineering School in 2023.
