BIO
I am a PhD researcher at Deakin University investigating sex differences in skeletal muscle health and ageing. My research focuses on determining how males and females differ in muscle mass, strength, structure, and gene expression across the lifespan.
I am particularly interested in understanding what drives these biological differences. Using molecular and histological approaches, I investigate the relative contributions of sex hormones and sex chromosomes to skeletal muscle biology.
My research is driven by an interest in understanding how genetics and environmental factors interact to shape human biological diversity.
