MsMiranda Stevens

Miranda is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Deakin University. Her research focuses on terrorism as a political imaginary, which she explores through a posthuman feminist lens.

Miranda is also interested in research on the Anthropocene as a diagnostic for the limitations of Western humanism, and she pays particular attention to the possible intersections between terrorism as a political imaginary and the modes of thought implicated in the conditions of contemporary planetary oppression.
