RESEARCH INTERESTS
Jess is an early career qualitative researcher with a focus on ageing, caregiving, and family dynamics. Her research explores the lived experiences of compound carers, who are individuals who simultaneously care for more than one person. She is particularly interested in the experiences of carers, family conflict, and complex family dynamics, dementia and delirium, as well as systemic and psychosocial factors that impact occupational participation and well-being. Jess has presented her research at national occupational therapy conferences and is committed to disseminating findings that inform practice and policy.
