This project has been developed as a collaborative pilot study between Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) and the Research for Educational Impact (REDI) centre. The project explores primary classroom teachers, language assistants, curriculum and school leaders perspectives in Victorian Catholic primary schools that utilise the ‘Teachers as Co-learners’ (TCL) of Languages program to teach languages. It explores how a TCL of Languages approach shifts participants’ understanding of multilingualism, and their language(s) and literacy education practices.
