BIO
Mesh Tennakoon is a writer of short fiction and a Creative Writing PhD candidate. Her research focuses on the cross-cultural dialogue between Theravādin Buddhism and the work of Jacques Derrida and how this provides a context for creatively and critically responding to the concern: Learning to Live. Her creative work has been published in Meanjin, Going Down Swinging, Island Magazine and Scratchthat and Mesh's MA creative artefact was published in the Anthology of Deakin's 2024 Postgraduate Prize for Writing.
