Md Imran Hossain is pursuing his PhD studies at the Institute of Frontier Materials at Deakin University in Geelong, Australia. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Maryam Naebe, she is engaged in groundbreaking research within the Fibre Science and Technology field. Imran’s primary focus lies in devising innovative strategies to mitigate the shedding of microplastics within textile industries, thereby addressing a pressing environmental concern.
In 2024, driven by his passion for cutting-edge research and inspired by the esteemed faculty at Deakin University, Imran embarked on his doctoral journey at the Institute of Frontier Materials. Under the esteemed mentorship of Associate Professor Maryam Naebe, he aims to delve deeper into the intricacies of his research domain, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.
