MsPavani Halpelage

Pavani Halpelage is a PhD candidate at Deakin University, with a research focus on first-year science education. Her work explores ways to enhance student motivation and self-perceived employability among first-year science students enrolled in introductory chemistry units through active learning approaches.

She holds an Honours degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Environmental Bioprocess, with a major in Food Engineering and Bioprocess Technology from the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka.
