BIO
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Fibres and Textiles at the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University, Australia, supported by a fully funded DUPR scholarship and close collaboration with an industry partner. My research focuses on developing sustainable filtration materials for resource recovery and environmental applications. My academic journey began in Bangladesh, where I completed both my BSc and MSc in Textile Engineering at Mawlana Bhashani Science & Technology University, graduating at the top of my class in both programs. Before commencing my PhD at Deakin University, I served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Textile Engineering at a university in Bangladesh for four and a half years.
Alongside a full-time graduate research role,I have been working as a Sessional Academic at Deakin University since 2026, c in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment. This combination of research and teaching experience has strengthened my expertise in textile engineering, materials science, and higher education.
