RESEARCH INTERESTS

·       Lived experience of those with chronic illness – especially focused on chronic kidney disease/organ transplantation/altruistic living donation

·       Women and academia/new researchers.

·       Embedding Aboritginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and knowing’s into tertiary health education through collaboration, in a culturally safe way.  Decolonisation of tertiary curriculum.

·       The role of the non-Indigenous voice in cultural responsiveness within the health industry and health education.

·       Nurses experience working in a NICU environment. (Australian College of Neonatal Nurses: National Conference – September 2022. Invited to present Honours Research – Same, Same, but Different - “lived experience’ of nursing staff working in a regional Special Care Nursery”)
