Stephanie Innes

Stephanie is a curious learner and emerging researcher. She is passionate about play, and the power of play as a practice for fun, learning and creativity. Stephanie is convinced that play is for all, young and old!

Stephanie is currently a PhD candidate at Deakin university - her research investigates the play practices of parents with consideration of the conditions that enable and constrain these practices. Watch a brief introduction to Stephanie's PhD here.

Stephanie has enjoyed the challenge of a variety of academic opportunities through working for Deakin University, specifically as part of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education teaching team. Stephanie is open to experiencing new work opportunities - please get in contact if you think she may be a good fit.

To rest and relax, Stephanie loves to play cricket, read all sorts of books or get out and go for a walk with Fezzik (a five month old Vizsla puppy). She is also quite proud of her modest garden, which currently boasts a very successful crop of snow peas!
