BIO

Bryan is an education-focused academic. Bryan is a Lecturer in Counselling in the School of Psychology. Bryan is the Placement Coordinator and Placement Unit Chair within Deakin University's Master of Counselling with responsibility for establishing and supporting counselling placements. 

 

Bryan is a Grief Counsellor and Social Worker having worked for an extensive period in counselling with individuals, couples, families, groups and organisations experiencing grief. Bryan has worked in the not-for-profit sector as well as in private practice. 

 

Bryan presents consistently across the community in grief education and literacy. 

 

Prior to Bryan's work in counselling and in the university sector, Bryan had a long career in policing.
