I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and have taught for over ten years at undergraduate and postgraduate level alongside research supervision. With extensive experience of teaching critical thinking and reserach methods, my current teaching activities are in the provision of Deakin's supervisor development program. This program involves workshops for reserach supervisors on aspects of reserach degree design and conduct including - recruitment ans selection, quality supervisory relationships, supporting and encouraging writing, preparing for examination and many others. Supervision and generativeAI is also a considerable teaching responsibility and here I host several workshops for superviors. Additionally, I act as a coach for the 'Driving your Thesis to Successful Completion' program and support my colleagues in graduate researcher related teaching and learning.
