BIO

Edwina El Hachem is the Academic Progress Chair for the Faculty of Arts and Education, the Course Director of the Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Lecturer (Curriculum and Pedagogy) in the School of Education. Edwina is a former secondary school teacher with extensive experience in curriculum design and delivery and well-being. She has a focus on Initial Teacher Education (ITE), employment-based degree pathways, and professional experience placements. Her recent research focus explores student voice and the impact ITE students can have on their development of their degree experience in partnership with academic staff.
