BIO

I'm a curious person who is committed to providing excellence in education opportunities for rural and regional students. Since the moment I knew what anatomy was I, I've sustained a fascination with the discipline of anatomy. I've worked in anatomy education for over 20 years, an excellent progression after working as an anatomical dissector for mroe than a decade. After more than 20 years, my love of teaching is complemented with a strong skill set as evidenced by numerous teachign awards, most recently being part of a Ciation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning; Australian Awards for University Teaching (2022). I am delighted to be expanding my teaching expertise into the discipline of pathology at Deakin, as well as now including embryology and histology in my teaching. I have a strong interest in teaching innovations and a track record of publishing about anatomy education.
