RESEARCH INTERESTS

.Energy markets and peer-to-peer energy trading: Developing and evaluating market mechanisms that enable consumers and prosumers to trade locally generated energy. Research interests include market-clearing price assessment, energy-sharing strategies, social welfare maximisation, participant profitability and privacy-preserving trading.

.Renewable energy and solar photovoltaic systems: Comparative technical and financial analysis of solar panels, photovoltaic (PV) modules and PV system configurations. Areas of interest include energy generation, system efficiency, technology selection and economic feasibility.

.Electric vehicles: Investigating the integration of electric vehicles (EVs) into renewable energy systems and local energy markets, including charging strategies, energy management and the technical and financial potential of vehicle-to-grid applications.

.Energy storage systems: Evaluating the technical performance and financial viability of energy storage technologies, with a focus on their integration with renewable generation, electricity trading and demand management.
