BIO
Connie is a Graduate Researcher in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. Her PhD investigates experiences of medical gaslighting and its impact on the diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis and inflammatory bowel disease. She is supervised by Dr Lisa Grech, Prof Antonina Mikocka-Walus, and Dr Catherine Emerson. Connie is passionate about embedding lived experience in her research, using this approach to advocate for improved healthcare for people with chronic illness.
