BIO

Jason Li is a Senior Lecturer in supply chain management and international business. He completed his PhD in Management at the University of Melbourne in 2022. Before joining Deakin Business School, Jason was a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Jason’s research lies at the intersection of supply chain management and international business. He investigates how firms adapt their global supply chains and business models to enhance resilience against risk events, such as product recalls, geopolitical disruptions, and climate shocks. His methodological expertise includes quantitative empirical methods using survey and secondary data, with an intensive focus on applying large language models to uncover insights from unstructured data. 

 

Jason’s work has been published in leading academic journals, such as Journal of Operations Management, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Transportation Research Part E, and International Journal of Operations and Production Management.
