BIO

Jason Li is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy, management, and organisational behaviour. He completed his PhD in Management at the University of Melbourne in 2022. Before joining Deakin Business School, Jason was a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Jason’s research lies at the intersection of international business and supply chain management. He investigates how firms adapt their global supply chains and business models to enhance resilience against risk events, such as product recalls and geopolitical disruptions. His methodological expertise includes advanced quantitative empirical methods using survey and secondary data, with an intensive focus on applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to uncover insights from unstructured data.

 

Jason’s work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Operations Research, Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Economics, Production Planning and Control, and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal.
