BIO

I am an Associate Teaching Fellow and Graduate Researcher (PhD candidate) in the School of Psychology (Burwood), with my PhD research focused on engaging Chinese Australian parents into parenting programs, as well as understanding their emotion-related parenting beliefs and practices. My broader research interests are children's socio-emotional development as well as cultural differences in parenting and child development. In 2026, I am teaching HPS105 Foundations of Psychological Practice in T1 and HPY 107 Psychology at Work: Preparation in T2; in 2025, I taught Social Psychology as well as Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Honours), and a Masters in Counselling. To date, I have published a paper on "Parenting strategies to support adolescent mental health during a pandemic: A Delphi study" with the Mental Health and Prevention journal. Currently in the second year of my PhD, I enjoy both teaching and research.
