TEACHING EXPERTISE

Nasreen has teaching and assessment experience across cybersecurity, ethical hacking, security analytics and digital forensics. At Deakin University, she has contributed to the delivery and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate units, including:

  • SIT703 – Advanced Digital Forensics
  • SIT704 – Ethical Hacking
  • SIT719 – Analytics for Security and Privacy

 

Her teaching areas include digital forensic investigation, ethical hacking, penetration testing, network security, security analytics, password recovery, cryptographic analysis, memory and file-system forensics, browser forensics, steganography, malware analysis, privacy-aware data analysis, and evidence-based technical reporting.

 

Her teaching approach emphasises practical learning, responsible and ethical security testing, clear documentation, critical analysis, and the application of cybersecurity techniques to realistic investigative and defensive scenarios.
