BIO

Heloise Gibb is a Professor with expertise in biodiversity, ecology and conservation of terrestrial invertebrates.  Her key research areas include species' ecological strategies, restoration ecology, including the development of new methods, and global change ecology.  She has previously worked at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, CSIRO and La Trobe University. Her current funded projects investigate parallels in ecological strategies between ants and plants, hotspots of invertebrate endemism in Australia's south-east forests, and brown food webs in desert ecosystems.
