BIO
My PhD research aims to gain a greater understanding of the antipredator behaviours of native critical weight range mammals. By using Flight Initiation Distance to measure escape behaviour, I will assess the plasticity of these behaviours across natural and anthropogenically influenced gradients of predation and urbanisation. This research will contribute to understanding the ability of native mammals to respond to novel predatory threats and changing environments, thereby informing effective conservation management.
