My research interests span clinical, health, and neuropsychology, with a particular focus on psychosocial factors in cardiovascular disease, including atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and coronary heart disease. My work also examines modifiable cardiovascular risk factors for dementia and vascular brain health, particularly hypertension and blood pressure variability.

Current projects explore transdiagnostic psychological processes relevant to primary care, psychiatry, and medically complex presentations. These include conditions characterised by prominent physical symptoms (e.g., somatic symptom disorder and functional neurological disorder), disorders that commonly require diagnostic investigation and primary care evaluation (e.g., illness anxiety and panic disorder), and factors influencing healthcare engagement and utilisation, including blood-injury-illness phobia and health literacy.

Recent collaborations and ongoing research also examine mental health, resilience, and psychological adaptation in the context of emerging environmental threats, natural disasters, bushfires, and climate change. My research integrates epidemiological, behavioural, and clinical approaches to improve prevention, assessment, and intervention across physical and mental health settings.
