BIO
I am a Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Economics at Deakin University, where I started in February 2025. I earned my PhD in Economics from the University of Adelaide in 2021. Previously, I worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics, Monash University, and as a Lecturer at the University of Adelaide College.
My research examines the impact of natural disasters, conflict, and inequality on health and development outcomes. I also have a strong interest in Political Economy, focusing on redistributive politics, female under-representation in Indian state legislatures, and strategic voting behaviors.
My work has been published in leading Economics journals, including the Journal of Applied Econometrics, Health Economics, European Journal of Political Economy, and Agricultural Economics.
