BIO

Muhammad Ismail is a PhD scholar in Information Technology at Deakin University, Australia (2025–Present), focusing on cybersecurity and distributed optimization in smart grids. He earned an M.Sc. in Electrical Communication Engineering from UET Mardan (2021–2023, 96%) and a B.Sc. from UET Peshawar (2017–2021, 86%). He has published widely in IEEE and other venues on UAV-assisted vehicular networks, V2X communication, ML in wireless systems, and privacy-enhanced resource management. Alongside research, he has significant leadership experience as a School Leader (BPS-16) in the Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, managing a network of 30 schools.
