BIO

Bec Cole is an experienced arts leader and specialist in strategy, frameworks and policy development, spanning public art, public galleries, performing arts and community cultural development in both for-purpose and local government settings.

 

She is a lecturer in the Arts and Cultural Management program at Deakin Business School alongside leading both the Creative Communities and First Nations portfolios at Manningham Council. 

 

Other recent roles have included as Executive Director and Co-CEO of Footscray Community Arts, Creative Industries Lead at Monash City Council, Director of Latrobe Regional Gallery and Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, and Team Leader Arts & Culture at Wyndham City Council.


Bec is the Chair of NETS Victoria, Deputy Chair of Next Wave and sits on the Program Advisory Group for Open House Melbourne.
