MrEmmanuel Ekpor

Emmanuel Ekpor is a Ghanaian-trained nurse and early-career researcher with five years of combined clinical and research experience. His research focuses on multiple aspects of diabetes, including psychosocial challenges, management trajectories, and comorbidities, while remaining open to broader collaborative work across related areas of health research. He has strong methodological experience in conducting qualitative and evidence synthesis research (including systematic, scoping, and integrative reviews).

Emmanuel is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Psychology at Deakin University, supported by a joint scholarship from Deakin University and The diaTribe Foundation. His doctoral research investigates stigma surrounding type 2 diabetes in healthcare settings, aiming to inform strategies that foster more inclusive and stigma-free healthcare environments.
