BIO
Md Toriqule Islam is a graduate researcher at the School of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, Deakin University, Australia, since February 2025. His current research focuses on the development of sustainable construction materials using geopolymers and industrial recycled wastes. Prior to joining Deakin, he earned his Master of Engineering from Hiroshima University, Japan, in September 2024 under the prestigious Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. His master's thesis explored the cesium adsorption behavior of various cement pastes. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Pabna University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2020, with a graduation thesis titled 'Durability of Rubberized Concrete.
