BIO

Tuhibur Rahman is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Information Technology at Deakin University, Australia. His research focuses on the intelligent modeling of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Green University of Bangladesh, Bangladesh, in 2022. Following his undergraduate studies, he commenced a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia; however, he later transitioned to a direct doctoral program to pursue advanced research in intelligent energy systems.

Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a Research Assistant in a renewable energy laboratory, where he contributed to government-funded projects on EV battery management systems and solar energy simulation under the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. He also served as a Lab Instructor at Qassim University, Saudi Arabia, and as a Teaching Assistant at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

He has authored 25 peer-reviewed publications  primarily in the areas of EV battery systems, renewable energy, and intelligent optimization techniques. His current research investigates intelligent modeling of EV charging networks, battery degradation mechanisms, and the integration of EV charging networks within virtual power plants (VPPs).

Rahman has been awarded more than ten prestigious international scholarships, including the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, Chinese Government Scholarship, Royal Thai Government Scholarship, the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals International Master’s Scholarship, the Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship, and the Russian Government Scholarship.
