MsDevina Chaturvedi

Devina Chaturvedi is an advanced-stage doctoral candidate in Information Systems at Deakin University. Her research lies at the intersection of IT strategy, organisational resource constraints, and technological change. She examines how firms make sense of, invest in, and mobilise emerging technologies as they navigate competing strategic demands and uncertain business environments.

Her work has been presented at leading Information Systems conferences, including ICIS, AMCIS, PACIS, ECIS, and ACIS. She received a Best Conference Paper nomination at ICIS 2023 and a Best Student Paper nomination at ICIS 2024. Drawing on prior consulting experience, Devina is interested in research that explains the organisational choices behind technology investments and their strategic consequences.

Devina is actively involved in the AIS Doctoral Student College. She served as Co-Chair of the AMCIS Doctoral Student Corner in 2025 and serves as the Doctoral Student College’s Website and Social Media Coordinator in 2026. She also contributes to the IS community through conference reviewing and academic volunteering. Her interest in the AI age extends to how emerging technologies may reshape the questions IS scholars ask, the capabilities future faculty will need, and the ways doctoral students prepare for academic careers.
