BIO

Qiyang is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at Deakin Business School. His research lies in a broad area of empirical corporate finance, with a focus on innovation, climate change, labor market, machine learning, and textual analysis. His work has been published in top-tier journals including Management Science and The Journal of Corporate Finance, and presented at prestigious conferences such as AFA, EFA, FIRS, CICF, SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific, and UNPRI. He also serves as an ad hoc referee for several leading journals rated A* by the ABDC.
