BIO
Dr Tang is an Associate Research Fellow contributing to the 5-year MRFF-funded project “Equitable Cancer Outcomes for Rural and Remote Australia (ECORRA)”, led by Principal Investigator Professor Anna Ugalde and Project Manager Associate Professor Skye Marshall. The project aims to address disparities in cancer outcomes for people living in rural and remote regions across Australia. She brings expertise in mixed-methods research, clinical trials, and systematic reviews. Her PhD research focused on managing micronutrient deficiency in bariatric surgery, developing a strong foundation in evidence-based health interventions and applied research methods. She is passionate about improving health outcomes and equity through research that informs clinical practice and health policy. Through her work with ECORRA, she aims to contribute to evidence-based strategies that enhance the accessibility, quality, and equity of cancer care for people in rural and remote communities.
